Laura Stinger Matta Cup- Blue Gloss

Queer LA based artist, Laura Stinger makes objects and performances. Their most recent work is a series of ceramic sculptures which cradle or contort the participating body, a negative prosthetics, in both scenarios activating a public performance of doing nothing.

The cups created for NOTO are inspired by Gordon Matta-Clark's architectural interventions and combine unexpected shapes to encourage prescense within functionality.
